Simultaneous Hydroponic Nutrient Control Automation System Based on Internet of Things

Hydroponic is one of the solutions gardening methods using water as a nutrition medium. Usually, maintaining hydroponic plant quality and nutrients are done manually require human efforts, such degree acidity or wetness (pH), TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), nutrient temperature. With Internet Things technology, we can automate control by measuring nutrients' TDS, pH, temperature values controlling pump needs for plants. This research uses NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system lettuce parameter. The parameters Water Temperature equal to sensor used in proposed IoT system. condition has 27 classifications, use this classification reference decision-making, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm activate actuator. We improve simultaneous actuator from previous with specified intervals duration achieve ideal nutritional conditions. other improvement that collect more data testing times. accuracy was 91.2%, k = 3. From evaluation results, KNN quite high an advantage, which better than algorithms simultaneously. conclude automation method ready real planting improvement.
